Richmond Women's Class

East-West Wing Chun's Richmond group will soon be starting a weekly women's class for our regular members. This class will be in addition to our regular classes, NOT a substitute for it.

Content will include:

  • Wing Chun Training (Forms, Chi Sao, Drills)
  • Safety Awareness
  • Self-Defense Techniques
  • Scenario Training

While John Kang will teach the class in the beginning, it will be turned over to the senior women students in the future.

Starting date, time and day TBA.

"Thanks for being the best martial arts teacher I've ever had. You really teach people how to adapt and apply what they've learned in Wing Chun to different scenarios, & you created a class atmosphere that was open anf friendly. I appreciate your concern for the women in the class and for treating us as equals."

"there are two people i am privileged to have learned from and deeply honored to call Sifu--the late Akko Nishimura and the dynamic John Kang. John is humble, thoughtful, compassionate, gifted martial artist, an empowering teacher & respectful of women. John has such tremendous integrity."
